Key Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeping Manager, you’ll oversee and manage the day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial records for our clients. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality service, providing critical support for tax preparation, financial planning, and other advisory services.
- Lead Bookkeeping Operations: Manage day-to-day tasks like accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations with precision.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Provide leadership and mentorship to bookkeeping personnel, ensuring a high-performing team.
- Handle Payroll: Oversee payroll processing with a focus on accuracy and compliance (experience preferred).
- Leverage QuickBooks Expertise: Use and maintain certification in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) to serve our clients effectively.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a positive and professional experience at every interaction.
- Support Growth and Efficiency: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to streamline bookkeeping processes.
Qualifications
We value professionalism, expertise, and leadership. Key qualifications include:
- Experience: Proven track record in bookkeeping, with 3+ years preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
- QuickBooks Skills: Certification in QuickBooks and hands-on experience are required.
- Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll processing is preferred.
- Management Abilities: Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing teams.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy and thoroughness in financial data handling.
